SolarSense announces the completion of a financing, purchase and leaseback transaction for the Carver, MA Highway Solar Project with Developer SolareAmerica. The 99kW Carver, MA Highway Solar System is unique as one of America’s first Solar System deployments on Highway property, located on Rt. 44 in Carver, MA. The commissioning of the system and go-live was complete in September, and the Official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will take place on Friday, Oct. 5th with attendees from: The Federal, State, and Local Government; Town of Carver stakeholders; Members of the Press; Developer SolareAmerica with partner Kearse Electric; and the SolarSense team. The project financing was completed utilizing proceeds from an ARRA Grant and the 1603 Treasury Grant, along with private-market capital.

SolarSense completes a 245kW Solar PPA contract with a NJ-based Host Customer in the PSE&G territory. EPC Firm Arosa Solar Energy Systems will provide turn-key Engineering and Construction for the project, which will feature Tier 1 Solar PV Panels and the Solar Dock racking system. Engineering and design will commence in Q2'13, with construction to begin in Q3’13.

Shamong Township, Shamong, NJ: The SolarSense system will help Shamong achieve a near “net zero” electricity status from the grid, while saving the Township > 20% of grid-electricity expenses. SolarSense completes a multi-year sale agreement for '000's of NJ SRECS from its Solar PPA commercial fleet, leveraging industry-leading broker MarexSpectron.
Shamong Township, voted the 6th best place to live in NJ, selects SolarSense and EPC services firm Renergy, Inc. for a (15) year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) to offset their utility expenses.
